How to Find Your Public IP Address
Finding your public IP is simple: just open a browser and visit WhatMyIP.site. It will instantly detect your external IP and location.

How to Find Your Local (Private) IP Address
On Windows:
- Press
Windows Key + R, typecmd, and press Enter. - In the Command Prompt window, type
ipconfigand press Enter. - Look for the line that says IPv4 Address (usually starting with
192.168.or10.).
On macOS:
- Click the Apple menu and open System Settings.
- Click on Network in the sidebar.
- Select your active network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to view your local IP.
On Android:
- Open Settings and tap on Network & Internet or Connections.
- Tap on Wi-Fi, then tap the gear icon next to your connected network.
- Scroll down to find your IP Address listed under details.
On iOS (iPhone/iPad):
- Open the Settings app and tap on Wi-Fi.
- Tap the blue "i" (info) icon next to your connected network.
- Your local address will be displayed next to IPv4 Address.
